Pushbuttons,
Pilot Lights, and Selector Switches
Allied Control's Pilot Device: Integrated modular design for small inventories and fast installation.
If you specify pilot devices-pushbuttons, pilot lights and selector switches-then you probably know the frustration of trying to match the dimensions, thread specs and mating profiles of different operators, contact blocks, locking rings, lenses, switch and pushbutton caps, and legend plates to get the right device for a particular job.
That's why we've designed Allied Controls' pilot devices with unparalleled modularity and interchangeability (you can make over 100,000 different devices from 100 basic parts), so you can have almost limitless design flexibility.
That's why we've included special labor saving features that make our pilot devices easy for you to install in your shop and easy to maintain in the field.
And that's why we offer standard and alternate packaging and shipping arrangements that let you economically tailor your inventory to your exact needs.
We even made all of the components in the line compatible aesthetically, so the appearance of the front of the panel will reflect the quality you put behind it.
Our aim is this: To make Allied Controls' pilot devices so they save you time and money at the design stage, at installation and whenever maintenance is required during the life of the panel.
Devices are UL and CSA Recognized, oil tight and watertight.
Our pilot device components include a complete selection of pushbuttons, pilot lights and selector switches, contact blocks, monolevers (joy sticks), cam switches, shrouds, and accessories.
No matter how you choose to put these components together, all properly assembled devices are UL and CSA Recognized.
Allied Controls' pilot devices also meet NEMA 4 (watertight) and NEMA 4X (watertight, non-corrosive) standards, as well as the more common NEMA 13 (oil tight) standards, without modifications. An internal seal provides watertight integrity as well as oil tight integrity. Components are all of corrosion resistant materials.
That means you don't have to fool with awkward rubber boots or odd fittings, and you don't need to special order devices for watertight applications.
